Not all projects follow this timeline, but this is one of my more favorite ways to kick off a new project

  • Competitor Research & User Data

    Let's see who we're up against! Learn from other's mistakes and create better bigger ideas.

  • Information Architecture

    Determining the hierarchy of the website or app helps determine the actual visual design of the product.

  • Wireframing

    Creating quick sketches of what we think the basic structure will look like. Collaborating with product managers and developers on building a feasible product.

  • User Testing

    At this point, paper prototyping, or rapid prototypes can be created and used to determine how well the idea works in a small portion of the market.

  • Design + Development + UAT

    Now that we're all on the page, lets create the final mocks! Afterwards it gets passed to developers, then back to design for final User Acceptance Testing
